Mr. Kookaburra and Kukkaroo is part of Guangdong Dance Festival (GDF) in Guangzhou, China, with five performances. GDF is one of the most significant Chinese festivals of contemporary dance. 
Residency in Hong Kong
After the performances in China, Päivi Aura and Kati Lehtola will stay in Hong Kong for 2,5 weeks in a residency at City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC). They will work with two local dancers and a musician to create a dance performance for children under 3 years old. There will be a work in progress showing at the end of the residency at CCDC Dance Center. Afterwards the work continues with telecommuting, and later the Hongkong artists will visit Helsinki. The work will be CCDC's first dance performance for the little ones. 
Small Size Days 2017
Small Size Days 2017 will take place on the weekend of 27th to 29th January. There will be performances, workshops and other activities all around the world, as well as in Helsinki. |
