Auraco's August newsletter
Bring it on autumn!
August and Auraco are back here again! Wheels were in motion even during the summer; in July we took part in the Full Moon Dance Festival in Pyhäjärvi, where we performed Whoopsy-Daisy, Where Are You?.
The performance was well received and had a great audience, reaching
about 70 spectators. Thank you to everyone who came to see the show and
thank you to Full Moon for a great festival!
AINUT performance at Helsinki Living Streets
Auraco will be a part of the Helsinki Living Streets event on Thursday August 11.
You can see Auraco performing AINUT in the morning or in the afternoon.
The morning performances will take place at the Central railway
station's platform square at 7:30–9:00 and in the afternoon around
Fredrikinkatu's tram stop at 16:00–17:30.
Saxophonist Heli Hartikainen will perform on both time slots, and she will be joined by dancers Anna Virkkunen (morning) and Maria Autio (afternoon).
You can stop by to watch the performance for example on your commute.
Save the date: October 1–2!
Make sure to book your calendars for the first weekend of October
because the very popular mime workshops are coming back! More
information to follow later this month. Stay tuned!
